The Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA) PTAB/TTAB Committee Committee will be offering a webcast entitled "Life After SAS and Oil States: What Has Changed and Where Do We Go from Here?" on February 21, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (EST). Jason Romrell of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP will moderate a panel consisting of Christopher Geyer, Associate General Counsel, Appian; Jonathan Stroud of Unified Patents, Inc.; Benjamin Hickman, Associate Solicitor, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; and Andrew Trask of Williams & Connolly, LLP. The panel will explore recent developments for estoppel, institution, stays, remands, and constitutional challenges in the wake of SAS and Oil States.
