Strafford will be offering a webinar/teleconference entitled "Drug Substance Patents: Leveraging New FDA Guidance, Protecting Composition of Matter Patents, Drafting Solid Form Claims" on November 1, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (EDT). Eyal H. Barash of Barash Law and Dr. Steef Boerrigter, Senior Research Investigator, Materials Science SSCI will provide guidance on what solid forms are with respect to "traditional" drug substance patents, how to patent them and what the challenges are in the process, and discuss the effect of the new cocrystal guidance at the FDA and provide a survey of cases relating to solid form patents and what can be learned from them.
