The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) will be offering a webinar entitled "Best Practices to Secure Allowance of Patent Application Claims Using Evidence" on March 3, 2015 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm (ET). Courtenay Brinckerhoff of Foley & Lardner; Matthew Dowd of Wiley Rein, LLP; and Mary Till, USPTO Office of Patent Legal Administration will cover evidentiary declarations under the First Inventor to File (FITF) system, including declarations relating to the 1-year grace period under the new section 102(b), explain Rule 132 declarations and other evidence to overcome obviousness rejections, and demonstrate how to avoid common pitfalls that can sink a patent during litigation.
