The complaints in these cases are substantially identical. Infringement of U.S. Patent No. 8,163,798 ("Methods and Devices for Providing Prolonged Drug Therapy," issued April 24, 2012) following a Paragraph IV certification as part of Mylan's filing of an ANDA to manufacture a generic version of Alza's Concerta® (methylphenidate hydrochloride, used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
