IPO Webinar on Patent Term Adjustment

IPO #2The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) will offer a one-hour webinar entitled "Patent Term Adjustment: An Update" on January 24, 2013 beginning at 2:00 pm (ET).  A panel consisting of Patricia Carson of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP; Adrian Looney of Pfizer, Inc.; and Eli Loots of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, LLP will consider:

• What steps patent owners should take in light of recent court decisions such as Exelixis v. Kappos;
• Recent USPTO rule changes including revisions in the rules of practice regarding the period of appellate review; and
• The impact of the technical amendments to the AIA that became law this month.
