Roche and Siena Biotech to Collaborate

Logo_o_2 Siena Biotech S.p.A. has announced that it has entered a collaboration agreement with Roche relating to discovery and development of treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.  Under the Agreement, Roche and Siena Biotech will engage in joint research activities involving screening and generating compounds, modeling and drug design, compound optimization, and identification of a lead compound for possible clinical development.  Siena Biotech, based in Italy, focuses on drug discovery and the development of therapeutics, particularly for use in treating diseases of the central nervous system and proliferative diseases.
