The second annual symposium of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property will be held at the Northwestern University School of Law on April 13, 2007. The symposium, entitled "Of Brics & Mortar: Technological Drivers in Booming Economies" will provide a discussion on a number of topics that may determine whether developing economies (the "BRICs," Brazil, Russia, India, and China) can continue to advance and grow. A number of professionals are scheduled to speak, with James E. Malackowski, President and CEO of Ocean Tomo, LLC (see "Ocean Tomo 300 Patent Index Makes the Intagible Very Tangible") to provide the keynote address.
More information regarding the conference can be found at the symposium's website.
