The Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SABPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering licensing and other partnering relationships among biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and academia in the United States and China. The SABPA hosts numerous networking events, such as dinners and conferences, to facilitate communication between investors, scientists, and companies from the U.S. and China. Recently, the SABPA hosted the second annual Pacific Forum on Life Science Alliances in San Diego. The SABPA has a number of sponsors, including Merck, Novartis, and Pfizer.
