Strafford will be offering a webinar/teleconference entitled "Patent Licensing: Advanced Tactics for Licensees Post-AIA — Structuring Contractual Protections and Responding When Licensed Patents Are Challenged in Post-Grant Proceedings" on October 16, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (EDT).  William C. Coppola, Senior Patent Counsel, Sanofi-Aventis; and April Weisbruch Goodwin Procter and Eleanor M. Yost of Goodwin Procter will provide guidance to patent counsel on addressing patent licensing issues for licensees post-AIA, and discuss incorporating protections in the license agreement and responding when a licensed patent is the subject of a post-grant proceeding.  The webinar will review the following questions:

• What steps can licensee counsel take to effectively build protections into the license itself?
