The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) will offer a one-hour webinar on "The Implications of Stanford v. Roche" on Friday, June 17, 2011 beginning at 2:00 PM (ET). The IPO webinar will consider the contract terms at issue in the case and examine the impact of the opinion on the patent reform debate, including the first-to-file provision. The panel includes Ned Israelsen pf Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, LLP; Patent Docs author Dr. Kevin Noonan of McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP; and Jon Soderstrom, the Managing Director of the Office of Cooperative Research at Yale University.
